Rogation Sunday

What is Rogation Sunday? In the Anglican tradition, it is typically celebrated during Easter season to pray for the church property and its protection for the coming year, and to bless the land for a fruitful growing season and harvest. We will begin our worship service with a procession around the property, stopping to pray for our gardens, our sacred outdoor spaces, and to bless our new Good News Garden.

You are welcome to bring your own seeds and plants to have them blessed, and to bring them home or plant them here at the church.

We will then enjoy lunch and get to work with tidying-up our outdoor spaces and inside the church building. Wear your work clothes to church!
