ABOUT US

Welcome to Holy Spirit Episcopal Church!  We are a new congregation in Sutton, MA with roots that go back nearly 200 years.

We “emerged” on Pentecost in May 2017 and have begun to live into our vision of connecting people with God by sharing the Good News through:

  • Welcoming them to and into our community

  • Reaching out to tend to those in need

  • Worshiping frequently and in a variety of ways

Episcopalians from the former St. John’s in Sutton and St. Andrew’s in North Grafton spent more than two years getting to know each other and working together to bring about this new congregation.  Something exciting began to happen as the two communities visited each other. Each group was extremely welcoming to the other. Church services became vibrant and energized. Talents were shared.

Now our courageous and exciting journey continues as we create a new church.  Pastoral care, music and Christian formation nurture our congregation. Mission and outreach activities take us into local and regional populations to provide food, spiritual companionship and a sense of community with others in need.

We welcome anyone interested to join us on our journey!  Our worship services are spirit-filled, participatory and relaxed.  Come as you are!  You will find that Holy Spirit Episcopal Church is a vibrant, welcoming and caring place for all who join us to worship and serve God.
